University of Nottingham
Nottingham is a major city of the Midlands. In the popular imagination it is most closely linked to the tales of Robin Hood and the football club Notts County, which is the oldest professional football team in the world. The University of Nottingham was founded in 1881 and is one of the largest in the country, with 34,000 students (including 13,000 postgraduates). Ranked by QS (2013) in the top 75 universities in the world, it is very popular with employers and has a distinguished list of alumni.
